Project Description

Hearing Aids

At Apex Hearing Clinics, we are experts in a variety of hearing aid models made by top manufacturers from around the world. We are fully independent, meaning we fit hearing aids from all manufacturers without any restrictions – allowing us to choose the device that is right for your needs.

We receive training direct from the manufacturers so we stay current on the most advanced technology. This allows us to fit you properly and customise device programming to help you hear better.

Because we realise that adjusting to hearing aids takes time, we provide a 30-day trial period.

30 Day Free Trial

We understand that purchasing a hearing aid can be a big investment and you want to make sure that you are spending your money with the right company. For this reason, we have a ‘try before you buy’ approach to hearing aids. As we prioritise patient choice, there is no obligation to purchase the hearing instrument at the end of the trial period.

Featured Technology

There are many hearing aid solutions from a number of manufacturers available on the market. This section highlights some of the latest and best technology currently available. However, this list is not all inclusive. We work with all the well-known hearing aid brands such as, Phonak, Starkey and Widex.

The latest release from Phonak is the Audéo Belong, a sleek receiver-in-the-canal (RIC) style hearing aid available in four technology levels and five separate models. Included in the Audéo Belong release is Phonak’s first rechargeable hearing aid. Offering a 24 hour lifespan between charges, the rechargeable Audéo Belong is a great option for people who do not want the hassle of disposable batteries.

Widex take your anonymous input on your sound preferences and combine it with input from other EVOKE users all over the world.

This cloud-based data enables the company to keep improving your hearing. EVOKE continues to learn. So not only are you helping yourself, but others around the world are helping you too.

Like to put your own mark on how you hear? In addition to the standard sound programs available with EVOKE, you can create your own, personalised programs – and give each a customised photo.

This invisible-in-the-canal (IIC) hearing aid from Starkey Hearing Technologies provides an excellent option for individuals looking for a discrete hearing aid solution. The Soundlens is custom made by making an ear mould impression of your ear and sits deep inside the canal, making it completely invisible in most ears. This product is appropriate for individuals with mild to moderately-severe hearing loss and is available in three technology levels.

The Virto B-Titanium is Phonak’s smallest invisible-in-the-canal (IIC) hearing aid released to date. Made from medical grade titanium, the Virto B-Titanium is vastly more durable than previous Phonak IIC products. The improved durability has also allowed for the hearing aid to be made significantly smaller which has increased the number of ears it can be fit on. This discrete hearing aid solution is available in two technology levels.

The BeHear Now devices fall within the new ‘Hearables’ concept. The device is a Bluetooth enabled stereo headset that provides an audio enhancement that you can customise to your hearing needs. That enhancement works with phone calls, audio play, and ambient hearing. The device can be set up to reflect your specific hearing ability which will deliver exactly what you need to hear calls, music and even the speech of someone nearby.

This RIC style hearing aid is one of only a handful of Made for iPhone hearing aids currently available on the market. The Halo 2 on Starkey’s Synergy platform allows the user to directly connect with Apple products including iPhone, iPad, and the Apple Watch without the use of an additional Bluetooth Streamer. Through the use of the TruLink app, you can seamlessly control the functions of your hearing aid and stream phone calls and music. The Halo 2 is available in three technology levels.

The Naida Venture is a powerful behind-the-ear (BTE) hearing aid from Phonak used for individuals with severe to profound hearing loss. The Naida V is available in three power levels and four technology levels, and is compatible with a variety of FM solutions.
